Preferences for Global Access Year 1 (2013)
Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME), the Inclusive Design Research Centre (IDRC), IBM's Accessibility Software Division, Raising the Floor International, Inclusive Technologies, and WGBH National Center for Accessible Media are pleased to work on a U S Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research contract for "Profile Creation Support for Cloud-Based Accessibility."
What is this team working on?
The key to ensuring successful access to information and services is a personal statement expressing needs and preferences for specific contexts and goals. These "preference sets" automatically configure information and applications to meet individual. This team is researching the best ways to create that personal statement, capturing individual preference sets.
