Branch 1: Research and Reporting

Task 1: Knowledge Base Development

2.1.1 – Gather and disseminate knowledge of proposed user profile system for users with disabilities

  • A. design and implement a strategy for gathering and synthesizing and reporting knowledge (putting structure together for SMEs)
    • this is the matrix
    • develop a matrix of information to be gathered on all relevant projects and efforts (survey of what’s happening out there)
    • tools to create matrix include lit and pub review, search online with follow-up by phone or email, finding experts, public consultation social networks, etc., documenting all.
  • B. create an online platform for dissemination (wiki?)
    • review FLOE, Fluid, GPII and Cloud4All platforms for accessibility (Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliant).

2.1.2 – Summarize expert judgment on how to assist users in creating profiles

2.2.1 – Describe appropriate and feasible support for creation of user profiles
