Accessibility
- Which accessibility standards are applicable and how will they be followed?
- Does the kiosk need to have a audio component?
- Does the kiosk need to have buttons in braille?
- What kind of assistance will be provided to the assistive technology user beyond any built-in accessibility features or functions of the kiosk?
Placement
- Where is this kiosk going to be placed?
- Will the kiosk be placed by the family fitting room and have an attendant? The kiosk will not be attended
- If the kiosk prints out a brochure where would the printer be placed?
Hardware
- Do we want to use a multi-touch or single-touch screen? If so what are the implications?
- What is the longevity of a touch screen?
- Does the kiosk need to have a audio component like a head set or phone?
- What type of printer or printers would we need?
- What are the CPU specifications - Processor Speed, Memory, etc?
Infrastructure
- Does the kiosk need to connect to the internet?
- Does the kiosk need to connect to the Museum's network to print? If so what is the transmission speed?
- How will the kiosk retrieve data does it need to connect to the Museum's network network/internet?
