Inline Edit

Inline Edit allows a user to do quick edits to simple text without having to switch modes or screens. All work is done on the same interface which helps the user maintain context.

  • Edit simple text without leaving their context
  • Edit multiple data points at once without leaving context (edit mode required)

Allow user to edit simple text

Edit a large amount of text in a rich text editor without leaving the context

If there is clickable content, such as links, allow the user to edit it without leaving the context
