  • Are we allowing others (e.g. parents, teachers) to set goals for a learner and then track their progress?

  • Can learners share different outputs with others (teachers, peers, parents, etc.)?

  • Is it motivating or demotivating to show new learners how many other learners have achieved the same goals?
    • DA: I think in all of these cases, as long as the learner is the one who initiates these things, and approves them, then it's OK. For example, external people can suggest goals and request to track, but the learner must accept those goals/agree to the request (or try them out for a period of time - maybe a trial period?). And a learner could try looking at other's achievements and decide for themselves if it's motivating or not.
