Time is fast approaching for the [insert conference] UCamp and so we need to start planning what talks and design projects we want to include. We need a list of suggestions for talks and also, any design projects, the design team will need to prepare ahead of time so we need to select something. Check email lists for further discussion. Have some ideas about how best we can take advantage of these times? Please add them here.
U-Camp Goals
We see the U-Camp as an opportunity to share best practices for design, show developers and others how to add usability to their designs and to leverage the face to face time to best advantage.
- UCamp is a "camp" so it should be interactive, educational and fun (think summer camp with a UCD focus).

Lightning Talks Suggestions & Signup
Lightning Talks have been very successful at other conferences and so we are hosting them again at the UCamp.Â
What is a "lightning talk"?
A lightning talk is a quick presentation of short 10 minutes or less with or without slides. You discuss a topic of interest to you that you want to share with the community. See also discussion of lightning talks in WikipediaAs well as being tremendously interesting and entertaining for attendees, lightning talks offer an unequaled opportunity for new speakers to present for the first time without going to the lengths required for a longer talk.
