An international consortium is pulling together the infrastructure and standards needed to enable any individual to discover, label and declare their personal needs and preferences with respect to digital resources and user interfaces or delivery mechanisms for any number of specific contexts. These needs and preferences can be related to the preferred means of presentation or organization, the preferred means of control, desired supports or any other need or preference that relates to digital resources and user interfaces. The infrastructure will dynamically match these needs and preferences with resources and user interfaces that best address these needs and preferences. We hope to gather an extensive inventory of possible needs and preferences, recognizing that any inventory needs to be easily extensible. You have expertise and knowledge in a needs and preference domain that has not yet been fully explored by the existing standard. We hope that you will help us to round out our inventory to take into account needs and preferences that individuals may wish to express.
