Accessibility Considerations
- Sarah as blind user. Since Sarah is attempting to communicate more with her students this term, she will:
- Extensive use of online communication tools such as discussion and chat. This will add to the urgency of making these tools such as discussion and chat fully accessible, including:
- Informing her of updated discussion threads and chat traffic
- Facilitating her sorting of contributions by students and topics so she can evaluate them more easily
- Use of visually-oriented content. Including organization diagrams, bar charts, photographs of subjects, etc.:
- Descriptions of visual content in student submissions
- The ability to create visual content in text-based editor
- The ability to tag visual content in text-based editor
