[05:51:47 EST(-0500)] <Hollystyles> Hi there, having a play with this excellent library for layout re-ordering. But I'm having some trouble when removing movable div items from the DOM. What things should I be lookingout for in this scenario? I'm calling reorderLayout multiple times instead of only once like the tutorials. Is this an issue?
[06:27:08 EST(-0500)] <sveto> Hi Hollystyles, I think that you can save the reorderer as you initialize it and then call refresh on it instead of calling reorderLayout. But that is not the problem. Do you get some error when removing the divs and calling reorderLayout?
[06:31:05 EST(-0500)] <Hollystyles> Hi thanks. I don't get an error I get undesired behaviour. 1. Setup the layout (2 columns), 2. remove an item form column two 3. Drag an item from column one to column two (above the last item in the list). Instead of the dragged item appearing above the last item, it appears to replace it.
[06:34:15 EST(-0500)] <sveto> And the item that you drag - is it the first one from column one?
[06:38:07 EST(-0500)] <Hollystyles> No it's in the middle, I haven't tried reproducing it by dragging the head or tail items.
[06:40:06 EST(-0500)] <sveto> There is a policy about drops - they can replace the item they are dropped on. But it would be better if I can have a look at your code instead of trying to guess. Can you paste it somewhere?
[06:48:21 EST(-0500)] <Hollystyles> sveto: I looked through my code where I was calling fluid.reorderLayout, and replaced them with .refresh calls instead. Stepping through the code like that made me aware I was calling it twice at initialisation of the page. I've changed that and my issue appears fixed. Here's the code as it currently is http://pastebin.com/d6168885b
[06:51:41 EST(-0500)] <sveto> I'm glad it worked out. I can't say what the issue was though, I've never used module layout.
[06:56:06 EST(-0500)] <Hollystyles> I have given myself a new issue now though now I can't drag from column one at all. I think I need make a little test project with everything else out of the way and bring it back bit by bit.

[09:40:41 EST(-0500)] <michelled> hi boyan. there's a couple problems with integrating.
[09:40:48 EST(-0500)] <michelled> one is that I haven't written the code yet
[09:41:12 EST(-0500)] <michelled> I'm a bit overwhelmed with the Infusion Builder bug parade work
[09:41:21 EST(-0500)] <michelled> I have the only blocker I think
[09:42:56 EST(-0500)] <boyan> michelled: ok, then I will continue with writing unit tests for now
[09:43:26 EST(-0500)] <boyan> I might also need to dive in fss and do some styling (will see after today's meeting at 5pm EET)
[09:43:56 EST(-0500)] <michelled> sounds good boyan
[09:44:59 EST(-0500)] <boyan> then we might check-in again tomorrow or wednesday

[10:09:53 EST(-0500)] <colinclark> laurel1: Sure, I'd like that. You're right, though, that today is really busy for me. Here's the at-bat list for me today, in order:
[10:10:30 EST(-0500)] <colinclark> jess, anastasia + yura, carl h. + dan from cambridge (at 12:30), then you're up.
[10:10:52 EST(-0500)] <colinclark> I've got to step out for a few hours this afternoon, so I'll try to fit you in before I go, if that's okay.
[10:11:05 EST(-0500)] <laurel1> its ok.
[10:11:20 EST(-0500)] <laurel1> builder qa on schedule in your mind?
[10:11:29 EST(-0500)] <laurel1> i'm becoming concerned
[10:11:41 EST(-0500)] <colinclark> laurel1: What are you concerned about?
[10:12:08 EST(-0500)] <laurel1> the fact that we have not completed the build script issue, so unless that goes in today, we can't really qa tomorrow.
[10:12:40 EST(-0500)] <colinclark> That's michelled's issue, not yours. So we'll leave her to be concerned about it.
[10:12:43 EST(-0500)] <colinclark> Seem reasonable?
[10:12:56 EST(-0500)] <laurel1> i'll help where I can
