“Canadians with Disabilities face Barriers to Financial Security, researchers find” by Geoff McMaster / University of Alberta. Discusses the financial reality of being a Canadian with a disability: a study that found people with disabilities, or who have spouses with disabilities, held 25 per cent less in assets on average, not including housing assets. Canadians with disabilities also have employment rates almost 40 per cent lower than the general population and are much more likely to experience poverty.
