INTEGRATION BETWEEN DIFFERENT COMPONENTS:

  • UI OPTIONS
    • QUESTIONS:
      • UI Options distintion from UI Enhancer? How are preferences apply?
      • Application preferences and how does UIO would use it? Where does meta-data come in?
    • IMPLEMENTATIONS:
      • Floating panel - desktop implementation ?
        • Ties in with the GPII architecture, in particular flowManager
      • Preferences Editor/Wizard - web based authoring tool. Extension to preferences server. UIO as a selection tool for the editor.
    • FUNCTION:
      • Selection tool for preferences sets
        • TIES TO:
          • Communicates to preferences server
      • Through UI Enahancer - a way to apply preferences with accordance to the available meta-data
