[10:39:11 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> jessm: sure, what's up?
[10:39:18 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> now?
[10:39:23 EDT(-0400)] <jessm> jamon: just want to re-sync up on CFI stuff
[10:39:26 EDT(-0400)] <jessm> sure, if you have time...
[10:39:36 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> not much to report, but ya, let me get my headset

[12:55:11 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> kasper: hello... just wondering if you've had a chance to see if the build scripts i sent wrote
[12:57:51 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: actually havent looked at them yet.. Originally I had the (somewhat optimistic) idea that each team would do a "Wuhu!" and quickly include them in their source, and test on the bamboo server... but I guess that's not really optimistic, given how busy everyone is
[12:58:28 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: I just got some wiki work out of the way though, so will test the scripts very soon
[13:01:51 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> kasper: thanks... and i totally understand that the cspace devs are really busy...
[13:02:27 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> by the way i should inform you of an assumption that i've made in the scripts ... you will probably notice that i don't rewrite the url to the service layer anymore
[13:03:40 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> i think that the default.xml should contain the best default and individually people should re-write the url in the copied file if they have to
[13:05:38 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: ok, cool
[14:31:48 EDT(-0400)] * Justin_o (~Justin@142.150.154.171) has joined #fluid-work
[14:31:53 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: so for the <property name="app_trunk" location="/home/fluid/Desktop/app layer/svcapp" /> line in the build-script... couldn't one just make that relative?
[14:32:26 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> aka ".."
[14:32:33 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> kasper: yes... i would imagine so
[14:40:02 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> Justin_o: Does this look about right?
[14:40:03 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Decapod+Future+Releases
[14:40:52 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> colinclark: yep
[14:41:10 EDT(-0400)] <anastasiac> aron_, are loan records currently supported? I'm hoping to test the interface, and would like to know if there is a service to test against (smile)
[14:42:01 EDT(-0400)] * anastasiac needs to check which channel she's in
[14:54:33 EDT(-0400)] <jameswy> jamon: ping
[14:54:54 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: the idea of the parent script was to have it directly above the app/ui layers.. But if we actually want to add that file to the repository, where would it be located?
[14:55:26 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: it seems to me there is at least a trunk dir in the way
[14:55:40 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: i might of course be missing something completely basic
[14:55:43 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> ?!
[14:55:50 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> kasper: I think the idea was to make an "externals" project in SVN
[14:55:54 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> Let me show you an example
[14:56:06 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> colinclark: you beat me to it
[14:56:10 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> (smile)
[14:56:13 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> i'm sorry, dude
[14:56:19 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> Justin_o is the mastermind behind all of this
[14:56:20 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> fight fight fight
[14:56:34 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> no problem.. my answer was going to be long winded and confusing anyways (smile)
[14:56:38 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> hehe
[14:56:41 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> This is our "all Fluid" external project for Fluid and Engage: https://source.fluidproject.org/svn/fluid/fluid-all/
[14:56:48 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> You'll notice it's strategically empty (smile)
[14:56:55 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> Justin_o can explain the details
[14:57:13 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> ok thanks
[14:57:49 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> justin_o: oh, by the way! good news .. your scripts seems to be working perfectly!
[14:58:00 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> kasper: (smile) thanks that is good news
[14:58:06 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> The qa.collectionspace.org is running with them now
[14:58:39 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> .. Justin_o: it was my manual runs though.. still have to get the teams to put them in their repos, before i can test with bamboo
[15:09:03 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> colinclark: I believe that justin_o's UI pom.xml is ready for replacing the current ui pom.xml in the UI repo.. how is this process done? ... filing a JIRA with the need of a bamboo compatible pom.xml, and attaching a diff-patch, or..?
[15:32:17 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> jameswy: heya, what's up?
[15:33:18 EDT(-0400)] <jameswy> jamon: could we get the svn commits from /svn/design hooked into JIRA?
[15:35:42 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> no idea jameswy, do they need to be?
[15:36:40 EDT(-0400)] <jameswy> jamon: I think it'd be helpful, (smile) – colinclark, jessm, Justin_o – thoughts on ^ ?
[15:37:08 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> ^ +1
[15:37:17 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> kasper: one sec, and i'll respond
[15:37:31 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> colinclark: sure
[15:37:58 EDT(-0400)] <Justin_o> jamon: one other thing, the mercurial plugin for jira doesn't seem to be working... showing an error when you try to view commits.. you can see this on DECA-99
[15:38:26 EDT(-0400)] <jessm> jameswy: jamon: +1
[15:41:33 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> interesting Justin_o, jira says it can't run hg pull
[15:41:35 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> but i can
[15:41:38 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> so that's one thing to check
[15:41:46 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> for me that is
[15:42:22 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> with hooking jira and svn together, does someone have a guide or can point me to documentation?
[15:48:17 EDT(-0400)] <jessm> jamon: i don't but maybe Justin_o does?
[16:04:27 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> jameswy: i misunderstood what you were asking for
[16:04:33 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> i think it should "just work" now
[16:06:06 EDT(-0400)] * Justin_o (~Justin@142.150.154.171) has joined #fluid-work
[16:06:34 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> jameswy: http://issues.fluidproject.org/browse/DECA-105 is that what you expect to see under the subversion tab?
[16:07:19 EDT(-0400)] <jameswy> jamon: yep, perfect!
[16:07:34 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> i thought you were talking about using svn hooks to push data to jira
[16:07:57 EDT(-0400)] <jameswy> aha--nope (smile)
[16:07:59 EDT(-0400)] <jameswy> This is excellent.
[16:08:02 EDT(-0400)] <jameswy> Thanks a mil!
[16:08:06 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> np
[16:09:01 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> anyone know what's up with vulab? vulab.ca was filled with spam, is now down
[17:03:18 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> jamon: Well, VULab is a bit of a long story
[17:03:25 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> But taking it down if it's filled with spam sounds prudent
[17:03:53 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> VULab's involvement with the community trailed off a year or so ago, so it might be time for us to consider putting their stuff in the vault and letting it go
[17:04:16 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> We'll need to check in with Ron Owston about it at some point
[17:07:09 EDT(-0400)] * Justin_o (~Justin@142.150.154.171) has left #fluid-work
[17:07:39 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> no rush
[17:07:43 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> their site is down at the moment
[17:07:47 EDT(-0400)] <jamon> not hosted with us either
[17:08:16 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> ok
[17:15:52 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> colinclark: the script seems to be doing the job, except that not all of csm22's test passes
[17:16:22 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> colinclark: just realized there is yet another obstacle in getting a nightly build. The URL of the cspace-config.xml is not changed to qa.collectionspace.org
[17:16:34 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> kasper: Were all of the app layer tests passing before?
[17:16:41 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> Justin seemed to think that a few were failing
[17:17:04 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> colinclark: yeah.. I think so too, and remember chris talking about it.. i'll test
[17:25:06 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> colinclark: yeah, 6 failed, 10 errors
[17:25:13 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> ok, great
[17:25:28 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> well, not great
[17:25:33 EDT(-0400)] <colinclark> but good that we haven't broken anything
[17:25:58 EDT(-0400)] <kasper> colinclark: hehe yeah (smile) .. i'll add on a -DskipTests and see if it's a success
