Kiosk idea sketches (January 20, 2010)

This sketch has been mapped to the floor plans of the DIA and the basic locations of where each gallery is.

This interface has been designed to address the following constraints:

Connect the galleries to the larger themes via color coded subway lines
Invoke playful interaction by touch and zoom in features
The visitor will have a basic orientation and idea of the different topics at the DIA
Visitors will be given instructions on how to use the interface via a embedded short video at the top left corner of the screen.
Uses a single metaphor that is line with the visitor's current mental-state "Where am I and where should I go? What's here?"
