October 24 2017 design crit notes OwnCloud permissions and workflow

Permissions:

• By default everyone can view contents of the IDRC-Design directory.

• Users can request contributor (Editor) access

• Users Editor access can be removed if they have been inactive, and reinstated when needed.

Communication:

• When users request access, some sort of guide with tips about workflow, how owncloud works, etc. should be provided when they gain access.

Workflow:

• Explore additional ways to improve design work in OwnCloud.

• i.e. better restructuring and naming of files and directories, tagging and commenting via the webapp, etc, file history
