Event Participation Waiver

Audio / Video Recording and Photography Participation

At this Create-a-Thon, we will be documenting our time together using audio and video recordings, and photography. These records will help us in our projects by allowing us to recall and reference moments when your participation was insightful.

At the Inclusive Design Research Centre (IDRC), we believe in open participation, and open access. The work we do is done “in the open” so that others may benefit from our research with “no strings attached”. As such your image or voice may be used in our projects, reports, and hosted on our wiki and websites.

We recognize that this openness might feel daunting, but we want to assure you that your privacy is important to us and that we will only use your likeness if it supports research purposes at the IDRC.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the use of audio / video recordings, or photography, please come talk to (insert name), or (insert name) before the end of lunch (12:45pm).
