Thoughts:
To make a good interactive site that's also accessible will take time
Is it possible to partner with another service and create an event or special program for BIG IDeA? i.e. is it possible to work with Yelp or use Google to create something that facilitates this kind of interaction?
Is there a way we can use what is out there already to create the relationships we desire? i.e. Engage on platforms where they are already, rather than creating a new platform.
i.e. create a Twitter / Instagram campaign engaging customers to document and engage with businesses. Businesses can respond in those forums.
Maybe there's already something on Yelp or similar which facilitates groups? Can we use that?
Concerns:
time for design and development
on-going maintenance and support
security and privacy
