You are a collector of rare and valuable stamps. You will be auctioning 5 stamps for charity and you would like to take pictures of them to make a catalog. You heard about the "Image Capture System" and would like to use it to accomplish this. |
Tasks- Task 1 Take pictures of 5 stamps and save your work.
- Task 2 Rearrange the order of the pictures into chronological order.
- Task 3 You left out a stamp from 1952. Add that stamp and determine if the picture quality is good.
- Task 4 The picture for the 1952 stamp is blurry. Replace it with a new picture.
- Task 5 Save your work as a redistributable file.
Notes for Test CoordinatorOffering help during the testDon't offer help; let the user attempt to perform the task themselves. If they ask for help reply with: - "What do you think you/that would do?"
- "What do you think that means?"
- "What do you think should happen?"
You want to observe whether the user has trouble: - Identifying how to begin capturing images
- Understanding the different capture buttons
- Navigating images using keyboard
- Changing the order of images
- Deleting, recapturing, or inserting images
5. Post-test questions (ask these verbally)- Was it obvious how to begin your tasks?
- Was it clear how to insert images into the program?
- Did you understand the differences between "Capture", "Insert After" and "Recapture"?
- Was there anything the program did that was unexpected?
